Dibawah bangunan yang sederhana ini digunakan oleh anak – anak Bhakti Luhur sebagai ruang keterampilan membatik, dimana dilengkapi dengan ruang pamer, ruang kerja dan halaman jemur. Pada ruang pamer calon pembeli dapat meneliti kain-kain atau kerajinan sebelum membeli, ruang kerja terdapat meja kerja untuk sketsa batik dan pewarnaan serta tungku batik, tak lupa halaman jemur untuk melapisi kain yang sudah dibatik dengan lilin sebelum direbus.

Batik-Making Class

Inside this humble building the children of Bhakti Luhur are learning batik-making skills. The building is equipped with a showroom, workshops, and drying yard. In our showroom potential buyers can examine the fabrics or craft before buying. There is sketching desks in the workspace for preliminary sketch and coloring, as well as batik stove. Outside the room there’s a drying yard. Here in the yard the specially-trained kids are coating the already tinted fabrics with wax and then lay them under the sun to dry before preparing them for boiling.

Compétences de classe batik

En vertu de ce bâtiment simple, les enfants dans le Bhakti Luhur apprennent batik. La chambre était équipée d’un espace de travail, salles d’exposition et de la page pour le séchage.
